What Makes us Different?
YEG Backyard Cinema isn’t your typical “inflatable-screen” outdoor movie rental.Â
Our setup combines a non-inflatable professional Black Diamond screen (the same screen used in movie theatre), a shaded enclosure, a professional projection and sound to create a dedicated outdoor cinema experience.
While many outdoor movie setups use inflatable screens we take a different approach, with a structured setup and full on-site service. We handle everything from setup to takedown, so you can focus on your guests, not the equipment.
A Real Screen
Our Black Diamond screen isn’t a thin fabric sheet or an inflatable screen. Its specialized, multi-layer surface rejects unwanted light, helping deliver deeper blacks, richer colours, and a clearer, less washed-out picture.
An Enclosure
Our shaded enclosure helps reduce the outdoor light reaching the screen. It creates a more controlled viewing environment, not just a screen exposed to the evening sun.
Big Screen. Big Sound
Our 9 × 16-foot screen, high-quality projector, and two professional Alto speakers bring the picture and sound together for your outdoor event.
Fully Managed
We set up, stay on-site, and pack everything away afterward. You focus on your guests while we handle the technical details.
